What does Owanga mean?

Owanga is neither, as frequently suspected, a new sect, an esoteric method or an African tribe’s religion.

It is an African name, which means break of dawn. I selected this name as a sign of my gratitude for the various experiences, which I was able to make as an expatriate in Africa and North America. They affected my attitude towards life and the focus regarding possible solutions when counseling people with personal issues and concerns.

My work is based on the models and methods of Humanistic Psychology and Systemic Therapy. I have quite a good radar for finding your personal strengths that you might have overlooked and the personal attitudes that are preventing you in attaining your goals.

Apart from professional attitudes I like to believe that some sense of humor is a good way of dealing with difficult situations.
